Match report Kegworth Town 253 v Sileby Town 261..A loss for the incrediball team but a good performance the result in doubt until the penultimate ball of the match, Asteady score by the Kegworth boys,first pairing Nic Briggs and Ben Hooper batting steady to put on 20 for the opening pair,followed by Oliver Woodhouse and Mitchell Hunt who despite losing a wicket still remained positive and added a further 6 runs,unfortunately the big pairing of William Wade and Chris Ellis did not fire us to a big score losing 2 wickets and only adding a further 14 runs with last pair Sam O'Neill and Javier Matteo adding a further 13 runs for 0wkts taking Kegworth's score to 253 and as it turned out around 10 less than they should have got,In the field Kegworth's bowlers lacked some discipline bowling 19 wides(38 runs)helping the Sileby batsman to get to there target rather easier than they should have done,still a good team display with things to put right during the season.
