Match report The best performance of the year so far deserves a report.

Whilst Long Whatton were weakened, they were still Long Whatton and Town won convincingly.

The best bowling of the year restricted LW to 69 for 9 and after 14 overs they were 32 for 5.

Openers Will & Josh were both accurate (Will removing off stump with a textbook delivery) and after getting two full tosses out of his system Will Such bowled superbly to take 4 for 4 (4 for 2 if the first deliveries were ignored). Chris beat the bat regularly going for only 4 runs from his four. Myles continued the spinning success taking 3 wickets with Tom clean bowling the other wicket to fall. Ben Hooper had 4 victims including a smart catch stood up to the wicket.

When Town batted Tom Henson starred pushed up the order, remaining unbeaten on 18 standing up to some sharp bowling with no apparent nerves.
