Match report KTCC U13B's travelled to Thringstone for their second match in 3 days!!! for the game against Grace Dieu Park. After losing the toss KTCC took to the field. Grace Dieu struggled to get going and were initially kept to 4 an over by some accurate bowling by the openers Max Lawson and Harry Gilby. Grace Dieu's middle order however accelerated the run rate with several boundaries to leave them on 143 for 4 after their allotted 20 overs. Overall the KTCC fielding again was impressive given the standard of the opponents. Special mention to Louis Blundell for running out Booth with a direct hit.
Louis Blundell and Elliot Turner opened the batting and put on an excellent 27 runs for the first wicket before Elliot was run out on 5. Louis Blundell kept going until he himself was run out for a score of 23, an innings which included 4 boundaries. The U13Bs managed to hold out until the final over before they were all out for 87. Another good performance from the youngsters against the top of the league. The attitude and spirit of the all the players was again fantastic and they were not phased at all by the opponent's behavior which was quite frankly well below the required standard.
