Newtown Linford opted to bat first, with tight bowling from everyone, a wicket a piece for Elliot Turner and Ant Berridge and some good fielding on a damp outfield including 2 run outs by Jack Evans and George Bakewell Smith, Kegworth restricted the opposition to 74 off their 20 Overs. In reply Kegworth started slowly reaching 20 off the first 10 overs, but with another captains knock of 25 (retired) and some great shots from Jack Evans Kegworth reached their target with 2 balls to spare. A great game and another MOTM award for George Jones.
