Hathern Old v Kegworth Town Cricket Club 2nd XI on Sun 17 Apr 2011 at 2pm
Kegworth Town Cricket Club Won by 132 runs

Match report Fifteen year old Jordan Davies was the star attraction as the 2nd XI beat Hathern by 132 runs in a hastily arranged friendly on Sunday. Davies opened the batting and hit a career best 82, while there were useful contributions from Jonathan Wall (38), Jack Hardy (34) and Gareth Isaac (25) as the visitors totalled 238 all out.

In reply Hathern never really challenged as wickets fell on a regular basis and slumped to 106 all out. Wickets were shared around and it was particularly pleasing to see three Under 15 bowlers amongst the wickets. Tom Williamson (2 for 23), William Such (1 for 16) and William Wade (1 for 17).

Kegworth start their Everards League Division Three campaign next Saturday with Oakham the visitors to Nottingham Road.
