Match report A disappointing defeat for the boys, at a ground where they always seem to perform below par.

Kegworth batted first and Tom Williamson top scored for the third game in a row with 31. Will Wade supported well with 26 runs at a quick rate and Town finished on a slightly disappointing 99 for 7. After 14 overs Town had been 75 for 2 (RR 5.4 per over) but the final 6 overs brought only 24 runs for the fall of 5 wickets (at only 4 per over).

After 14 overs of the reply, the game was nicely poised with Carillon scoring at exactly the required rate of 5 per over. However the next two overs brought 31 runs and the game was lost. The economic spells from Jordan Davies (1-8 from 4 overs) and Will Wade (1-8 from 3 overs) were in contrast to those from the other bowlers who all conceded 6 runs an over or more.
