Match report A goood win for the boys.

After a first over that conceded 10, the Kegworth opening bowlers got on top and a maiden from Chris Ellis (including a run out on the final ball) was followed by a double wicket maiden from Will Such. Chris followed up with two in two balls and with Will taking another, Sileby were rocking at 23 for 6.

Sileby did well to recover from this position and despite wickets for Harry White, Mitch Williams and Tom Williamson finished at 89 for 9 from their 20 overs.

Despite losing Alex Corrie in the first over, Kegworth made a solid start and Tom Williamson and Will Wade added 47 for the second wicket, which fell on the penultimate ball of the 10th. Some explosive hitting followed from Tom with 2 big sixes struck into the allotments before he eventually fell for 39.

After some nervous moments as the run rate slowed, Chris Ellis (supported by Owen Barker and then Tyler Day) eventually steered Kegworth home with two fours in the 18th over to win with two overs to spare.
