Match report Another good performance by the U15Bs against a young Anstey team.

On a very green wicket we asked Anstey to bat first, and they battked their way to 11 for 4 off 20, with Royle scoring 52 n.o.

Pick of our bowlers were Sam O'Neill 4-1-19-1, Tim Berridge 3-0-9-0, George Marrable 3-0-11-1 amd Josh Faulks 4-0-22-1. A great catch form George Jones, another from Alex Johnson, and a great run out from Alex Johnson gave us a manageable target to chase. Overall our fielding wa sbelow par, with numerous misfields and 29 in extras.

When we batted, Nic was out quickly for 2, leaving us 4 for 1. Jacob joined George with the brief to hang around, and use up some overs whilst keeping the scoreboard ticking. He duly did so, before being bwled for 6 when the score was on 27. George and Tim then built a very solid partnership of 45 runs in 6 overs to take us very close to our target and get us well ahead of the required rate.

George was out for 15 scooping a catch to a short fine leg, leaving Seb 22 n.o. off 13 balls, and Tim, 338 n.o. off 33 balls, to power us home with 29 balls left.
