Match report A 10 man Kegworth 3rd XI put up a suberb fight against a good spirited strong Lambley XI. The Trees made 187 for 6 wickets form their 40 overs and Lambley knocked them off one down in the 39th over. Despite some wonderful bowling from William Such, Andrew Smith, Andrew Goodwin and Alex Filsell the only wicket for Kegworth came through a superb caught and bowled effort by the ever young Lee Weedon.

Smith (77) starred with the bat holding a 153 run partnership with Weedon (53).

Brilliant debut bowling from Filsell who opened the bowling with figures of 8-0-18-0.

A fantastic game of cricket on a glorious Sunday afternoon.

Well done to all involved in a great game!
