Kegworth Cricket Club – 3rd Team Captain Opportunity

Kegworth Cricket Club is seeking an enthusiastic and development-focused individual to take on the role
of 3rd Team Captain.
This role is ideal for someone with a strong development mindset, keen to foster growth and progression
from junior to senior players, while maintaining a positive and competitive team environment.
Role Overview:
•
Lead the 3rd XI in fixtures across the season, primarily played on Sundays, at grounds located
between Kegworth and the City of Nottingham and surrounding areas.
•
Encourage player development, nurturing skills and confidence to support progression from
junior to senior levels within the club.
•
Facilitate games with focus on team cohesion, development, and enjoyment, while promoting
fair play and inclusivity.
•
Liaise with club management regarding player selection, fixture arrangements, and development
pathways.

Gedling & Sherwood CC – 5th XI

Gedling Colliery CC – Development XI

Candidate Profile:
•
Passionate about player development and supporting cricket progression at all levels.
•
Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire teammates.
•
Experience in team management and match-day coordination is desirable but not essential.
•
Willingness to commit to Sunday fixtures across the season.
This is an exciting opportunity to make a real impact on player development at Kegworth CC, helping to
shape the next generation of cricketers while enjoying competitive cricket in a welcoming environment.
