Kegworth Town Cricket Club Under 11's Hardball v Barrow Town B on Fri 08 Jun 2007 at 6:00pm
Kegworth Town Cricket Club Won By 55 Runs

Match report Kegworth won the toss and chose to bat.

The Kegworth innings started slowly but the rate picked up and an opening
partnership of 12 from Will Wade and Josh Carroll set them on their way. A
few quick wickets left the home side in a poor position but a third pair
partnership of 28 from Will Such and Harry White assisted by some wayward
bowling put Kegworth back on the front foot. The innings was finished off by
Chris Ellis and Sam O'Neil, leaving them with an above par score of 255 from
their 16 overs. The Kegworth bowlers dominated from the start with six
wickets off the first 2 overs. Such picking up three, White getting two
victims with a run out from Carroll. In the middle of the Barrow innings a
Nick Briggs wicket and one from Ellis left Kegworth in a comfortable
position. The game was put in no doubt at the end with four more Barrow
wickets falling quickly. A wicket each for Ellis and Wade followed by two
run outs from Briggs and Wade again, Ben Hooper (WK) knocking off the bails.
The Barrow innings finished how it started on exactly 200, Kegworth winning
by a fairly comfortable 55 runs.
