As Chairman of the club, I would like to follow up on the
recent messages you have received about the suspension of all cricket related
activities. As you will understand, we have been following not only Government
guidelines, but also guidance from the ECB.
On a more positive note, I want to assure all our members
that the Management Committee will be keeping the position under constant
review and you can be sure that as soon as sporting activities can recommence
the club will be raring to go.
We are hopeful that senior cricket will resume on Saturday
4th July. Junior cricket, including All Stars
and Dynamos Cricket will also be rescheduled to ensure maximum participation.
Further updates will be issued in due course.
I would like to thank those individuals who have been
working on the playing facilities (whilst ensuring social distancing) and send
my best wishes to all club members, supporters, sponsors, friends and families
for the difficult period ahead.
We thank you all for your support and understanding. Rest
assured we will act in the best interests of all our members.
