Captains
for the forthcoming 2018 season have been confirmed by the Management Committee
following proposals from the Cricket Sub-Committee.
Jordan
Holmes continues to lead the 1st XI after their impressive third place finish
in the Leicestershire & Rutland Cricket League Premier Division. Overseas
player Brent Williams remains as vice-captain.
Charles Morris takes charge of the 2nd XI in Division 4 West who will be
looking to improve on last year’s 5th place finish.
Daryl
Cockerill stays at the helm of the 3rd XI who will again play their home games
at Sutton Bonington and will be looking to improve on last year’s 5th place
finish in Division 9 West.
On
Sundays we’ll be putting together a variety of friendly fixtures including an
Over 30’s v Under 30’s game on August Bank Holiday Sunday (26th August).
We’d
like to wish our captains an enjoyable and successful 2018.
Senior and Under 19
Indoor Nets commence on Friday 2nd March at the ECB National Performance
Centre, Loughborough University between 6pm and 7pm. Cost for this excellent
facility is £5 per session.
Under 15 and 17
players who are interested in playing Saturday 3rd XI cricket are welcome and
encouraged to come along.
