Kegworth Town Cricket Club

We will travel to Kibworth in the first round of the Leicestershire County Cup on Sunday 23rd May.

The annual CricketForce weekend will take place on Saturday 27th and Sunday 28th March.

We have plans to repair the driveway, paint and clean sight screens, paint and repair storage sheds, decorate and carpet the changing rooms as well as the usual pre-season preparations.

Everyone uses the ground and facilities throughout the summer so please make every effort to come down at some point over the two days to lend a hand in getting everything ready for the coming season.

We all use it, please don't leave all the work to someone else!!!!

The club is pleased to announce that Tom Bevan will be our overseas player for the 2010 season.

Tom is a top order batsman and off spin bowler from Tasmania, Australia and plays 1st Grade cricket for the Kingborough District Cricket Club.

Tom arrives in the UK on 4th April and will be available for our warm up games.

Once again, thanks to the Yew Lodge Hotel for their support in providing employment for Tom while he is in the UK.

We have been paired with hosts Leicester Ivanhoe and Market Harborough in the group stages of the Cockspur Club Twenty20 Cup on Bank Holiday Monday 3rd May.

Finals Day will be held at Kibworth on Bank Holiday Monday 31st May.

We will host Division One side Earl Shilton Town in the first round of the Everards League Cup on Sunday 2nd May. The winners of this tie will then travel to Barrow Town on Sunday 20th June.

We will travel to Derbyshire Premier League side Alfreton in the first round of the ECB National Club Championship on Sunday 16th May.
