Match report Another excellent team performance with everyone making a contribution in a game that turned out to be a comfortable victory.

Leicester City won the toss and put Kegworth in on a fine but cold evening. Seb and George Jones batted bravely and sensibly against a good attack adding 31 for the first pair through a combination of quick singles and boundaries. Sam and Goerge marrable then added a further 30 runs with George being bowled trying to sweep a 3rd consecutive boundary. Sam added another 15 runs to his tally to end not out for the 4th innings of the summer. Owen and Tyler then added their trademark stonewalling and both managed a boundary to add a further 25. Mitch and Jacob then batted last pair and a couple of big swings cost his wicket twice but he still managed another of his cameo innings scoring 21 off 16 balls. Jacob did well in support of Mitch but lost a wicket for us with the last ball of the innings and we ended on 299 for 4.

When Leicester batted every bowler played their part. Owen did everything but take a wicket and with George M restricted City to 221 off the first 4 overs putting them behind the rate immediately. Sam and Jacob then bowled very tightly and managed to take 2 wickets including agreat run out at the bowlers end involving George J and Sam. Jacob also took a wicket with his first ball, which delighted all watching! Seb and Tyler then bowled a very hostile 4 overs where City only added 3 runs and lost a wicket to Seb. In the final 4 overs Mitch, Seb and Sam bowled very tight;y to concede 13 runs with Seb taking a superb catch off Sam's bowling in the last over.

Man of the Match was awarded to Seb for his all round performance including some fantastic fielding that probaly saved us 15-20 runs. A brilliant team perfoemance with every player contributing. The Under 12s remain unbeaten!
