Match report Winning the toss and electing to bowl first on a slightly moist wicket. A good opening stand by the BATS 1 and 2 got the away team off to a steady start.

Altough the pitch was beginning to harden the pace attack of Franklin, Skilbeck and the Day brothers wasn't getting wickets.... Time for spin, enter debutant Will Such (12yo) Who in his first over took 2 wickets bowling ripping leggies and googlies. The captain Weedon bought himself on and bowled a ticght 8.5 overs, 3 maidenss 3 for 12. Such continued to take wickets ending up with figures of 6-26 for 4. Superb debut for the 3rd team!

Bowled BATS out for 121, and I must admit I started counting chickens....

In reply on a now slow, hard, dusty track the bats men kept falling, resistance from Woolley 29, Trevis 24 but it was the unlikely pairing of Dave Wall and Skipper Lee Weedon that got kegworth over the winning line the 7th wicket partnership of 51* got Kegworth the point
Dave Wall ending up on 44* and Weedon 12*.
