Match report A young Kegworth team weakened by illness and Leicestershire's love of tennis performed well but were ultimately second best against Carillon.

Decent opening/closing spells from Wade and Ellis were let down by the bowling of 5 wides apiece, Tim Berridge bowled tidily particularly his first 2 overs(1-1 at that stage. The team fielded well throughout with the highlight a well taken catch diving forward from Tim Berridge.

Nick Briggs was top performer with the bat, his 31 including only 7 singles but strangely only two boundaries. Tim Berridge made double figures but overall the Kegworth middle order found the accurate Relf and hostile Clarke challenging with combined figures of 4-23 from their 8 overs.
