Match report At last a game of cricket.
KTCC won the toss and put Ashby Hastings in to bat.
The openers Max Lawson and Matthew Holt kept Ashby's run rate down at the start. This was followed by a fine bowling spell from Joe Ellis who struck twice leaving Ashby on 38 for 2 after 10 overs. Ashby managed to get away ending up on 105 for 3 after their allotted 20 overs with Max Lawson taking a well earned wicket with the last ball of the innings.
KTCC struggled with the bat and ended up on 81 for 7 after 20 overs. Highlight of the innings was a steady knock of 18 by Louis Blundell.
Given that most of the players were playing 2 levels above their age group this was a very good overall performance. Well done to all.
