Kegworth Town Cricket Club Lost By 9 runs

Match report Kegworth played host to Greddnfields in what was a very close match that went right up to the final over. Kegworth batted first getting a very respectable 260.Top scorer was Bradley with 16 not out, but all the boys made it onto the score sheet.

Throughout the Greenfields innings Kegworth kept their score close to their own. Unfortunately more wides started to creep in during the last four overs and this saw Greenfields snatch the victory. Josh Gillman had an excellent bowl with only 3 runs off him and a wicket with Jay Werb catching behind the stumps. Matthew Kingsbury bowled and then ran out his batsman to claim a wicket.

A solid all round performance in which all the boys should be proud of their achievements. Man of the match was awarded Bradley Frost for his excellent batting.
