Kegworth Town Cricket Club Won By Thirteen Runs

Match report A victory for the under 15s but overall a below par team performance, in one of the stranger matches I've seen.

Kegworth's total of 150 benefited from 52 extras including 41 wides, a considerable number of dropped catches and some bowling begging to be hit.

Another excellent score and performance by Will Coutts of 53 (139 runs in total for the 15s this season without losing his wicket) and a brief spell of big hitting by Tom Williamson (15) however after that some disappointing performances.

Shepshed were perhaps surprisingly ahead of the high run-rate at the end of the 16th over but the later batsmen couldn’t match the performances of the front three.

The boys have already played better and lost on at least two occasions.
